In this episode, further technical terms of Taijiquan are explained in depth and based on Chinese character analysis and ancient sources - combined with four decades of practical experience.
The terms in this webinar are:
- Wúji
- Tàijí (-quán)
- Yīn and Yáng
- Dāntián
- Shì vs. Shì - posture vs. potential of a movement
- Gāng vs. Róu or Ruǎn - Hardness vs. softness or flexibility
After a short introduction, I present a character analysis for each term (including pronunciation guide) and interpret the respective meaning for our Taijiquan from there. Each term is rounded off with practical training tips and a Q&A session.
As always, a video recording will be available for all participants for at least 14 days.
