Art transforms, inspires and opens up new paths.

Welcoming the singer Sued Nunes, a native of Sapeaçu (BA), to our headquarters was a moment of great joy and significance for the "Island of the Children".

Her journey, characterised by a celebration of her roots, her ancestry and the strength of Black women, resonates deeply with what we believe in and nurture every day within our organisation. Through education, culture and the arts, we seek to offer our children and teenagers — especially black girls — opportunities to recognise their potential, strengthen their identity and discover that their dreams, too, can take on the world.

Sued’s music resonates with resistance, a sense of belonging and hope. These are values that also guide our work in nurturing young leaders who are aware of their history, their culture and the power they hold to transform their own lives and their communities.

Thank you for your visit, your warmth and your inspiration. May encounters like this continue to show our children and teenagers that art is a path to freedom, self-esteem and social transformation.

You are always welcome to the "Island of the Children"!
