Black November

During Black Consciousness Month, we held several amazing activities to celebrate our history and strengthen our cultural roots. One of them was the Nagô Braiding Workshop, led by our talented teacher Maria Brito.

More than just an aesthetic practice, Nagô braiding represents resistance, ancestry, and cultural identity. In this workshop, our youth had the opportunity to reconnect with their origins, boost their self-esteem, and appreciate the richness of Afro-Brazilian culture.
