Chen-style weapon training has a great influence on energy management and clarity in the individual Taiji postures. In order to guarantee the greatest possible learning success, we will explain and practise the various basic exercises for the sword and the long pole/spear. With this foundation, the forms can be learned and understood more easily and directly with more depth. Our aim is to achieve greater clarity and understanding of the body. We achieve this through and with the help of a long and/or short weapon.
'I would like to concentrate exclusively on the hand forms of the Chen style' - Here you go!
'I want to practise the 19 form, 38 form and Laojia Yilu plus standing column and the silk exercises throughout the day' - no problem with this timetable. But there's more: Jan, Frank and Sasa have different focuses and methods for teaching you Taiji. So you get the same thing with different emphasis. Ideal for choosing the best for you from each teacher.
Push hands and lecture - where can you get that?
We will complete the evening program together. We will practise harmoniously and respectfully with each other and, if you like, also amicably against each other. Ideal for subjecting Taiji to an objective test. Jan's lecture evening is an annual highlight. Entertaining, profound and sometimes humorous, Jan takes us into the depths of the Taiji cosmos.

With our three coaches, we guarantee teaching at the highest level in 2025 too. Competence in theory and practice meets many years of national and international seminar and camp activities.
WCTAG Family Camp 2025 - and where are you?
Within WCTAG, we see ourselves as one big family. The annual Family Camp is therefore the place and the opportunity to get together, meet old friends, make new friends and learn and practise with and from each other. This is the place to network. Much more is possible together.
The Family Camp motivates and inspires. It gives you personal input and the tools to improve yourself (and your Taiji teaching).
Everyone is welcome - and that's a good thing!
Are you completely new to the WCTAG or would you like to get to know the Chen style? Great, the Family Camp is the right place for you. Participation should be mandatory for WCTAG teachers.
