Our organization is in the process of launching its first own festival. One of the main ideas behind this artistic-cultural event is to present and raise awareness of the multicultural diversity of the island, both externally and in the municipality of Itaparica itself.

This event is an initiative of our project Island of Children (Ilha das Crianças), the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Environment and Sports of Itaparica and the Federal Government.

Due to the increase in COVID cases and a rapidly spreading aggressive form of influenza, this first edition will feature videos, short films and/or mini-documentaries produced by local artists and posted on our social media throughout the week.
