One of our success stories from this year:

Itaparica Island wins 3 national medals in judo!

Our young athletes from the Island of Children took part in the Bahia Judo Circuit in Santo Antônio de Jesus-BA with great success. 

The judo lessons in our project enable the children and young people in Itaparica to learn and practise this sport. Now they even take part in official competitions, in this case organized by Febaju Bahia. In the end, our athletes were able to gain valuable experience and take away great emotions. 

Our special thanks go to our judo coach Maria Britto, the Assamaca Judo Association and the prefecture of Itaparica, who trusted in the project and actively supported the athletes.
