Our trip to China in May 2026 is almost completely planned. It will last about 14 days and will be something really special.

We will travel to Chen Xiaowang's school opening. However, as there will be many groups attending the official opening, which means that Chenjiagou is likely to be very crowded, hectic, noisy, and touristy, Chen Xiaowang and I have decided that he will hold a private school opening for us a week later—just for our tour group. We will stay, eat, sleep, and, of course, train exclusively with him!

In addition, we will not only travel to Huashan, but also to Wudangshan. Thanks to the greatly improved Chinese infrastructure, the journey there now takes only two hours from Xi'an, instead of two days as it used to.

This will be a fantastic trip for us, with a whole week in Chenjiagou, followed by Huashan, Xi'an, Louguantai, and Wudangshan. It will include lots of training with GM Chen Xiaowang, Daoist masters, and me!

A German television crew will also accompany us throughout the trip. It consists of just two people whom I have known privately for 30 years, and they work with very little equipment. So it will hardly be noticeable—but at the same time, it will result in a professional documentary film for German television. This will give you a lasting memory of this trip, which you can later share with the whole of Germany.
