Train together. Grow together.
This year, too, we have further developed the Family Camp – with an improved timetable, clear training structures and fresh ideas to inspire your Taiji.
To mark our 10th anniversary, you can look forward to an intensive week packed with training, discussion and inspiration. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced practitioner, this camp will take your skills to the next level.
For those who want to delve deeper – hand forms & weapons
Training in the Chen style uniquely combines body, mind and principles. In 2026, we will be placing particular emphasis on:
- Targeted training in basic skills
- Intensive practice of Laojia Yilu and Xinjia Yilu
- Further study of Laojia Erlu and the sabre form
- Fundamentals and applications in weapon and form training
Through systematic practice, you will develop greater clarity in your movements, a better sense of your body and a deeper understanding of the inner principles of Taiji.
Structured timetable – maximum development
The new study plan enables you to study in a structured and effective way throughout the day:
- Standing Meditation & Silk Reeling Exercises for Grounding and Energy Work
- Form work with different teaching priorities
- Supplementary sessions on strength, flexibility and practical application
Jan, Frank and Sasa present the material from different perspectives. This way, you can take away exactly what will help you personally.
Push Hands, applications and lecture
The evening programme remains a highlight too:
- Push Hands: different approaches – from structured to sensitive
- Applications for directly monitoring your training
- An inspiring lecture that allows you to delve deeper into the world of Taiji
This is where Taiji comes to life – through respectful interaction and direct exchange.
The teaching team – expertise of the highest standard
With Jan Silberstorff, Frank Marquardt and Sasa Krauter, you can look forward to an experienced team with a deep understanding of both theory and practice, as well as many years of international teaching experience.
More than just training – the Family Camp experience
The WCTAG Family Camp is more than just a seminar:
- Seeing old friends again
- Building new connections
- Learning and growing together
This special atmosphere makes the camp a real highlight of the year – motivating, inspiring and memorable.
Everyone is welcome
Whether you’re new to the Chen style or have been practising for a long time – you’ll find your place here.
For WCTAG members, and particularly for trainers, the camp is the ideal opportunity for professional development.
